At The Mary and Martha Center, our mission is to support, empower, and educate women.
We are a community-centered empowerment program run by women, minorities, and immigrants. We provide faith-based and spiritual services, one-on-one counseling, family counseling, marriage counseling, wellness and holistic lifestyle services, self-love and self-care programs, and more. We have become a refuge for people who are ready to take the first steps towards self-empowerment and self-love.

Our Team
Our team includes specialists and experts in all areas of physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual health. We offer holistic wellness services that embrace the interconnectedness of the mind, body, and spirit.
Jana Strukova, Ph.D
Our founder and Executive Director has over 25 years of experience in theology, psychology, education, and leadership. She has written many books and has conducted extensive research in faith-based, spiritual counseling and stress management.
Regina Butler, B.A.
Our Pastoral Care Coordinator is our leading mentor in our Side-by-Side mentoring program. She has a B.A. in Human Services from Pfeiffer University and is passionate about empowering women locally and internationally.
Ellen I. Koski-Ponton, Ph.D.
Our Clinical Supervisor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist has been practicing since 1994. She offers individual and couples counseling services.
Laura Emery, MSP, BSN, RN
Our Faith Community Health Ministry Coordinator, Laura has three decades of experience as a registered nurse and coordinates research on social determinants of health.
